Change, turned into a game you'll actually enjoy: your coach marks your foods green, yellow or red like trail blazes; you re-route one red food a week, earn elevation for every step, climb a mountain map, and collect badges along the way. No penalties, ever, a slip is not a fall.

Where you'll be standing in twelve weeks

  • A whole-foods way of eating built around your actual week, not an ideal one
  • Family dinners, restaurant nights and a bad fortnight already navigated, with me alongside you while you did it
  • Cravings that have stopped running the show
  • A dashboard showing what has moved since day one, in the signals that matter more than the scale
  • A mid-point re-assessment behind you, so you know what is working instead of hoping

Questions climbers ask

Is keto safe for me?

That is a question for your doctor or pharmacist, not for me. I am a coach, not a medical professional, and I do not provide medical or medication screening or clearance of any kind. What I can tell you is that a well-formulated low-carbohydrate approach is well tolerated by many people, and that it does interact with certain medications and conditions.

So the honest answer is: please ask your prescriber before you enrol, especially if you take medication for blood sugar or blood pressure. If they are comfortable, we climb, and only your prescriber ever adjusts your medication. That division of labour is a feature, not a limitation.

Will I get the keto flu?

Almost certainly not, because we prevent it. The 'keto flu' is mostly mineral loss, and the Electrolyte Shield (salt, potassium, magnesium, done proactively from day one) is the single highest-value habit of the program.

Do I have to reach full ketosis?

No. The Lookout is a route with several safe stopping points. Some climbers thrive at moderate low-carb and never need formal ketosis; others go all the way. Both are real summits, we find YOUR altitude.

What will I actually eat?

Real food, generously: meat, fish, eggs, colourful low-carb vegetables, real fats, berries and nuts. This is whole-food keto, not bars, shakes, or a bacon dare.

Do I need to buy testing equipment?

A simple ketone meter helps (we will choose the right option for you at intake, some cost under $50 to start). It turns an invisible process into a number you can see move.

What about restaurants, travel and wine?

All covered, with playbooks. You will build go-to orders for your usual spots, a travel strategy, and make your alcohol decisions calmly in advance. One off-plan meal never ruins anything, your body returns to ketosis within a day or two.

Do I have to do Base Camp first?

If ultra-processed food is still a big part of your eating, yes, the climb works in order, and it is why it works. If your kitchen is already clean, a short readiness check at the free call places you correctly, sometimes with a two-week Base Camp refresh.

Some people need a doctor’s go-ahead before starting

Lowering carbohydrate can interact with some medications and health conditions. I am a coach, not a medical professional, and I do not carry out medical or medication screening. Whether this is appropriate for you is a decision for you and your doctor or pharmacist. Please have that conversation before you enrol if any of the following apply:

  • You take an SGLT2 inhibitor such as empagliflozin (Jardiance), dapagliflozin (Forxiga) or canagliflozin (Invokana). Combined with low carbohydrate these can cause a serious form of ketoacidosis while blood sugar still looks normal.
  • You take insulin, or a sulfonylurea such as gliclazide or glyburide. Doses usually need supervised adjustment to avoid low blood sugar.
  • You have type 1 diabetes, kidney or liver disease, or a history of pancreatitis.
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have a history of disordered eating. Please speak with a qualified professional before starting. I am not trained to assess or treat disordered eating, and structured food guidance is not right for everyone.

None of these rules you out on its own. They simply mean the decision belongs with your healthcare provider before we start. By enrolling, you are confirming that you have taken any advice you need and are choosing to proceed.
